NFL Roster Cut Down Day

Post image for NFL Roster Cut Down Day

Today is the day that all NFL rosters have to cut their rosters down to 55 players.  By 4pm this afternoon most players will know if their hard work paid off or if they have to look for a new job with a different team.  That in a way is like their very own monster moment.

Anyhow I have a question for the NFL.  Why do you have to do this on a Saturday?

It would be much better if you did this on a Thursday.  This was the corporate world could spend Thursday afternoon adn all day Friday reading about the cuts on the internet.  The Patriots cut every backup QB they had with actual experience.  The Jets have already announced some cuts.  Unfortunately, we have to read about this on our own time (the weekend).  A long weekend no less.

The NFL should be more considerate when planning these things.  Stay tuned next week as we explain why the Super Bowl should be played on a Wednesday morning at 10am.

Hey Retailerz ::: it is Jets7 from the old board. How have you been?

Hopefully this time they got their punter. Bigger picture though, maybe the punter won’t matter if this kid Sanchez is the real deal at QB.
